OK, I was waiting until Kevin hit West Virginia to exploit the John Denver "Country Roads" theme BUT yesterday, while reviewing the maps, I realized HE ISN'T GOING TO GO THROUGH WEST VIRGINIA! The pictures from Wednesday (10/5/11) fit "Country Roads" perfectly soooooo, without further adieu, I give you VIRGINIA Country Roads:
Oddly, they hit ANOTHER bridge that was out!
This time, however, they rode across it - no more river forging!
The Challenge of the Day winners for Wednesday are Chip & Jim for squeezing the bus through this tunnel! BOYS GOT SKILLS! Oh Yeah!
Day #13 was VERY productive. From Lexington, VA to Christiansburg, VA for a total of 80 miles and a grand total of 860 miles in 13 days! Keep up the good work Kevin & Emi! We are here watching and cheering you on!
