Over the weekend Kevin hit a couple of milestones:
1. Leaving Virginia and entering Tennessee
2. Passing the 1,000 mile mark
I'd say that's a VERY productive weekend!
Along the way maps were studied, analyzed, dissected, and, ultimately, routes were changed. Kevin had to get his serious eye wear out to do this. Nice look Kev... The new and improved route by-passes Kentucky altogether and hopefully will shave off a some miles in the process.
The weather has been BEAUTIFUL! At the end of Day #16, Jim rode his bike and met up with Kevin at the 65 mile mark.
Saturday ended, with a total of 83 miles, in Mooresburg, TN.
Got an early start on Sunday leaving Mooresburg and heading to Karns, TN for a total of 64 miles. This makes a grand total 1,124 miles to date. We celebrate this journey along with Kevin for the Wounded Warrior Project. Thank you to everyone who has donated to this very worthy cause and supported Kevin along the way - we are very close to hitting $50,000!
