Day #22 - Riding with the King

On Friday (10/14/11) Kevin, Emi and Jim left Hamilton, AL in the morning with temperatures in the 40's.  On their way to their final destination outside of Tupelo, MS they stopped at the Elvis Presley Birthplace Museum to pay homage to the King.
Over the course of the day it warmed up to 80 degrees and the sun was shining.  Friday marked the last day on the Google Maps bike route when they rejoined the Adventure Cycling route on the Natches Trail.
Last week the decision was made to go with Google in order to avoid heading back North unnecessarily.  In the process 200 miles were saved.  On Friday a total of 61 miles were pedaled from Hamilton, AL to Shannon, MS.

Wow, I never realized how much you look like Elvis, especially the hair. However, I like everyone who meets you knows you speak exactly like him and have a very strong tendency toward using his mannerisms.
